Security and safety of data is a high priority to LMI Solutions.  We would like to outline how we protect our customers, contractors and suppliers.  The Data Protection Act 2018 is the UK's implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which we follow the data protection principles as outlined below.

  • Used fairly, lawfully and transparently.

  • Used for specified, explicit purposes.

  • Used in a way that is adequate, relevant and limited to only what is necessary.

  • Accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date.

  • Kept for no longer than is necessary.

  • Handled in a way that ensures appropriate security, including protection against unlawful or unauthorised processing, access, loss, destruction or damage.

How we store and use your data

CUSTOMERS

The data collected helps LMI Solutions communicate and provide correct and appropriate products and services that benefit our customers and their business. The information will be part of our internal database. 

The data collected is as follows:

  • Customer Marketing Information:  Name, email, company name. (For our products and services in the form of a periodic email). *Mailchimp is our marketing creator. Here is their Security Policy

  • Customer Order Information:  This information is held on our private server. We hold information for jobs including: information per customer: Order number; order contact name; order contact email; order contact number; company details; order specification; design specification; quote issues; order documents; contact numbers; delivery address; bank account number; sort code; Digital data is stored on our LMI secure server. Paper documents stored in a secure locked office.

SUPPLIERS

The data collected from suppliers helps LMI Solutions to receive stock and services to meet our business and customer needs. The information will be part of our Database (private server).

The data collected is as follows:

  • Data - name, company address, product details, website address, contact number, email, order quotes, purchase transaction. 

  • Paper - business cards, magazines, catalogues, invoices, order receipts.

​Data is stored on our LMI secure server. Paper documents are stored in a secure locked office.

Details are kept for 7 (Seven) years from becoming dormant then deleted or destroyed.​
